CAFETERIA DINING ROOM

We entered on the Main Deck. Moving aft (to the back of the ship) and up a stairway to the Cabin Deck. At the stern (the back of the ship) is the Cafeteria Dining Room. The Galley (kitchen) is below on the Main Deck, and the food was sent up on a "dumb waiter" (elevator) to the steam tables above. The Cafeteria Dining Room is furnished with tables and chairs which make up the largest collection of antique Warren McArthur furniture known to exist. They were purchased when the Clipper was rebuilt in the early 1940's, and are in excellent shape today.
