THE S.S. MILWAUKEE CLIPPER

COMES HOME!

Mart Dock

The Milwaukee Clipper spent 39 years at the Mart Dock. Here she loaded and unloaded passengers and cars traveling to and from Milwaukee. The Clipper has been on Muskegon Lake since 1997 looking for a permanent home. Now, an agreement has been worked out returning the ship to this vary same dock as a museum ship and events center.

Nothing could make us happier!

"Coming home" after all these years strengthens our commitment to join with the LST-393 and the Port City Princess to make the Mart Dock a major tourist destination for Downtown Muskegon.

The local press has followed this story from the beginning. Here are links to some of them.
