I was a childhood fan of the Milwaukee Clipper when I would see it leave Muskegon harbor while camping in Muskegon State Park. I followed it with curiosity over the decades since it’s retirement, and recently took a pilgrimage to Muskegon to tour the ship. The guides were informative and friendly. There’s still a lot of work to do in the restoration process, but the preservation group is working diligently on fundraising and developing a volunteer base. Plenty of room for the tour to become more popular, as I was the only person on my tour. I enjoyed it thoroughly and took lots of photos!
